About The Project

Amanda Shea is an artist, performer, educator, artivist, publicist, host, and curator. Her portfolio is a compilation of writing, hosting, and performing. She has hosted BAMSFest and numerous poetry events; she facilitates youth workshops for spoken word poetry, visual arts, and public speaking. Additionally, she serves as a publicist for hip-hop artist Brandie Blaze and has managed and supported numerous other artists in Boston. She approached me to build a website to enhance the experience of her performing arts and writing portfolio.

I currently work with her as her website maintenance manager, aiming to build her brand and increase her online visibility.

Tactics:

• I developed AmandaShea.com, where fans can view her spoken word performances, tour dates, and portfolio.

Results: I was tasked with providing and constructing a platform for Amanda Shea to showcase her work as an artist, writer, and performer. I created assets to promote and build her website, as well as secure modeling jobs. Consequently, I transformed her services (modeling and performing) into a platform—an online portfolio site—allowing people to enjoy her beautiful visuals and book her for spoken word gigs without leaving the website.
