GUYS NEXT DOOR

The Guys Next Door podcast features in-depth conversations on the millennial perspective on health, love, relationships, sex, and everything in between. I worked with their team as their social media manager to build their brand, increase their visibility online, and build relationships with millennials using specific, measurable goals and strategies.

TACTICS

  • I established Guys Next Door’s Youtube channel and created partnerships to promote and engage with us.

  • I created the structural foundation of how an in-house social media agency should be run i.e. creating social media strategy reports, managing an editorial calendar for engagement, suggesting a number of videos to be produced for social media content, and utilizing social media schedulers like Hootsuite and Facebook Business Suite. 

 

Solution

To implement Guys Next Door's social media marketing, I created and implemented a 360° marketing plan. Strategies include launching a social media campaign for Valentine’s Day, hosting Twitter Chats to generate inbound traffic, as well as leveraging new platforms such as TikTok. Additionally, I implemented Facebook ads and created a campaign for listeners to sign up for Patreon.

Results

The overall goal for GND was to create content and distribute information that would help the brand recruit followers and increase listenership. Ultimately, the brand reached 8,800 Instagram followers.
